Warranty and Returns
Hoverebird.ca accepts returns within 15 days of the product receipts for any reason. To proceed with the return please email or call us to initiate the process. Return shipping must be covered by the sender. On our end we will process refund back to you minus original shipping collected when order was created. Beyond 15 days period returns will not be accepted and in the event of the warranty issue please refer to how we handle warranty procedures.
Non UL reconditioned boards sold As-Is, no returns.
Every Hoverbird order gets tested in our store. Our technician physically takes unit out of the box and perform range of simple tests to ensure your receive product in full working order. Products which passed the test are shipped to customers.
Hoverbird.ca provides, on all UL2272 certified scooters, customers with 1 Year limited warranty since the receipt of the product. Since we are a brick and mortar retail location in Calgary we can provide customers product warranty as compared to many web sites claiming to provide you with unreliable warranty. Based on our experience 1 year is sufficient warranty period to ensure your product full functionality.
How does warranty work ?
Some issues are obvious and you will be able to articulate them via email or phone call to us. Based on what you tell us we can make a decision on what is required. Once we know what you need we will ship you part(s) to repair your unit yourself.
If issue is inconclusive and will require troubleshooting you may send your unit back to us for repairs. In the event when you are shipping hoverboard back to us for repairs, you must pay for return shipping. We, Hoverbird.ca, will fix your product at no cost, and ship it back to you at our cost within 1 year range.
Many situations are also very individual and we will approach it case by case basis but the framework of our warranty is stated above.
